When the injured workers are done with the training and ready to apply for that next job, we can help them complete job applications, draft a resume and prepare for interviews.
Job Search Training- Create a job search plan by determining the list of career gals, listing the injured workers experience and skills, and strengths. Brainstorm possible occupations.
Labor Market Analysis- Identifying the appropriate labor market for various types of occupations . Understanding the market helps know the salaries that are being paid for certain positions. Identifying the different level of experience needed for a career and suggestion possible companies.

Workshop on resume writing- Ps Vocational Consulting helps the injured workers prepare a professional resume that reflects their skills, knowledge and education that is relevant to the job they are seeking.

Mock Interviews -A practice interview with a career counselor that will help you prepare for an actual employment interview. The focus of the mock interview is help reduce the stress and anxiety that the injured worker will experience. It will also boost the confident and we provide with constructive feedback , after all practice makes perfect.

Networking- We stress the importance of building connections that can further the injured workers career goals or find new job opportunities. It is important to network since it increases the chance to make important contacts. The injured worker will build a reputation throughout their network

SJDB Vouchers

The Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) comes in the form of a non-transferable voucher that can be used to pay for educational retraining or skill enhancement at state-approved or accredited schools.

Return-to-Work Supplement Program

Employees injured on or after January 1, 2013, who have received a SJDB  voucher may also qualify for an additional one-time $5,000 payment.
