Professional Evaluation

PS Vocational Consulting provides one-on -one sessions with an experienced vocational return to work counselor (VRTWC) to help the injured workers choose a training program that’s in accordance with their abilities and medical restrictions. The meetings take place in person or Online via Zoom / Facetime.
The one on one are beneficial to both the counselor and the injured worker. It gives the counselors the opportunity to get to know the injured worker exceptionally well so that we have better assist them.

Part of guiding our clients to a better path falls on the responsibility of helping them set goals to meet achievable expectations. We believe that every injured worker can overcome this devastating job injury if that is their goal. The results will come from the effort and desire they invest in. Ps Vocational Consulting gives clear objectives and guidelines to reach those goals. We identify any obstacles that can disrupt the process and ensure they are held accountable for their actions.

THE GOAL :

Discuss Deadlines – Deadlines eliminate confusion and force all parties working together to be up to speed with the process. We apply this to schools , the injured worker , insurance companies and us. Knowing when your voucher expires, when you start a class, or even when payments will be made by the claims adjuster is important so we all track our deadlines and measure our progress.

OTHER SERVICES

SJDB Vouchers

The Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) comes in the form of a non-transferable voucher that can be used to pay for educational retraining or skill enhancement at state-approved or accredited schools.

Return-to-Work Supplement Program

Employees injured on or after January 1, 2013, who have received a SJDB  voucher may also qualify for an additional one-time $5,000 payment.
